The Al-Sabah Collection is participating with seven objects in the exhibition “Mamlouks 1250–1517,” held at the Musée du Louvre in Paris. The selected objects will be displayed alongside 260 pieces from around 40 international institutions.
The exhibition will be held in the Main Exhibition Hall (Hall Napoléon) at the @museelouvre from April 30 to July 28, 2025. A catalogue edited by Carine Juvin, with contributions from specialists, will accompany the exhibition.
A related conference, “Mamluk Art: Attributions and Evolutions,” will take place at the Louvre on June 23, 2025.
